What should I upload to my AI agent?
ReplyReady’s GetReady step gives you four files. Each one has a different job — and only one of them is uploaded as knowledge. Here is where each goes.
Quick version
Upload meta-knowledge.txt only. The other three are for settings, testing, and your own records — not for uploading as knowledge.
Where each file goes
meta-knowledge.txt — Upload to your AI agent — knowledge / source area
This is the only file you upload as knowledge. It holds your customer-facing facts — prices, products, opening hours, delivery and pickup rules, payment methods, and owner-approved answers — so the agent answers from accurate information.
meta-config-sheet.md — Copy into your AI agent’s settings / direct instructions
These are behaviour rules: tone, when to hand a chat to a person, and what the agent should never promise. They tell the agent how to behave — they are not customer facts, so they go in settings or direct instructions, not in knowledge.
manual-conformance-tests.md — Use only in preview / test mode
These are test questions to try in your agent’s preview or test mode, to check its answers. They are for checking the agent — do not upload them as knowledge.
owner-report.md — Keep private
This is your own record: what is complete, what is missing, and which version you prepared. It is a private business document for you — not for the agent and not for customers.
Why split them up?
Knowledge should contain only customer-facing facts.
Mixing in rules or tests confuses the agent and can make it repeat instructions back to customers.
Behaviour rules belong in settings or direct instructions.
That is where the platform applies them as guidance for how the agent acts — not as facts for it to quote.
Tests are for checking the agent, not teaching it.
Uploading test questions as knowledge can make the agent treat example prompts as real facts.
Owner reports are private business records.
They may mention gaps or internal notes that customers should never see, so keep them to yourself.
